Catalyst is a single-tenant data engine engineered to process complex telemetry at scale. By decoupling stateless compute from long-term storage, it delivers deterministic performance, self-healing orchestration, and complete architectural ownership.
Infrastructure: A dedicated Hetzner VPS with LUKS Full Disk Encryption (FDE), insulated by a Tailscale VPN, utilizing SOPS for API secret management and Caddy for reverse proxy access.
Engine: Dagster orchestrates custom Polars I/O to extract massive telemetry microbursts and materialize them natively in BigQuery without compute shocks.
Proof of Concept: To demonstrate payload capacity, the engine currently powers a live, AI-augmented B2B multi-channel MarTech reporting suite.
Distributed Livelock & Systemic Network Fragility
Standard continuous-time risk models fail to capture the structural hardware degradations that precede market crashes. To resolve this, I model the limit order book as an asynchronous distributed network of algorithmic finite state machines (FSMs).
Thesis: Liquidity exhaustion events are not exogenous price shocks, but deterministic state-transition faults within the network's global state scheduler caused by multivariable clock skew.
Market Physics & Out-of-Core Engineering
As part of my continuous R&D operations, I utilize custom React/WebGL engines and local hardware architectures to visualize complex state-transitions and distributed system failures.
