Distributed Systems

Distributed Livelock & Systemic Network Fragility

Standard continuous-time risk models fail to capture the structural hardware degradations that precede market crashes. To resolve this, I model the limit order book as an asynchronous distributed network of algorithmic finite state machines (FSMs).

Thesis: Liquidity exhaustion events are not exogenous price shocks, but deterministic state-transition faults within the network's global state scheduler caused by multivariable clock skew.

The most expensive mistake in the cloud is a lazy configuration. I reduce network ingest costs by ~90% via VPC Gateway Endpoints.
