What we collect
The only personal information we see is what you voluntarily share with us; typically your name, email address, and a short description of your project. You might send this either through our contact form or by emailing dave@catincloudlabs.com.
Contact form: Our contact form is powered by Formspree, a third-party service that securely processes and forwards your message to us by email. They may temporarily store form submissions on our behalf so we can receive and respond to them.
Server/CDN logs: Like most sites, our hosting and CDN may capture basic request metadata for security and operations, such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, and timestamps. We do not use this data for advertising or profiling.
How we use it
We use the information you provide solely to respond to your inquiry, understand whether we can help, and deliver any services you ask us to provide.
What we don't do
- No advertising trackers or analytics cookies on this site.
- No selling or renting your data. Ever.
- No unnecessary data collection.
Retention
Inquiry emails and contact form submissions are retained only as long as reasonably needed to serve you and keep basic records; generally no longer than 12 months unless required for legal, accounting, or contractual reasons.
Your rights
You can request access, correction, or deletion of your information by emailing dave@catincloudlabs.com.
Security
We operate with a security-first mindset (least privilege, private networking, encryption). For vulnerability reports, see our security.txt and our Security page.
Changes to this policy
We may update this page from time to time to reflect how the site actually operates. When we do, we'll revise the “Last updated” date above.
